Allegri Ensemble is one of the premier choirs in Tasmania and has been a leader of choral performance in Tasmania for over 15 years. Our aim is to provide lovers of fine music with the opportunity to experience quality choral performance. As we move towards our 20th year of singing together, we also want to bring to our audience, and to the wider community, new music in the form of commissioned works that we can share into the future.
Commissioning works is a rewarding but expensive undertaking – around $1,500 per minute of music. We need your help to turn this dream into reality – we invite you to contribute towards commissions.
